Fujian Xinghang Foundry establishes Xinghang Research Institute

       On December 14, 2018, the Xinghang Research Institute of Fujian Shipbuilding and Transportation Vocational College (hereinafter referred to as Xinghang Research Institute) was established. The main customers are Baowu Steel Group, Julun Co., Ltd., Dongfang Electric, Goodyear, Guangxi Ovim, China Railway Science and Engineering, and Sinohydro.

       Fujian Xinghang Company has been moving towards the goal of becoming stronger and bigger, actively exploring the research and development of large-scale high-quality cast steel products with high technological added value, and promoting technological progress in the industry with innovation-driven.        Chen Zhongzhen said that the Xinghang Research Institute will be based on the Fujian Shipbuilding College and will be jointly built by Fujian Xinghang Company and the Fujian Shipbuilding College. Its purpose is to establish a technical research and development cooperation and innovation system from green manufacturing and intelligent manufacturing research and development to industrialization pilot projects, master key materials and core technologies in the manufacturing industry, and promote the transformation and upgrading of enterprises from "ordinary manufacturing" to "intelligent manufacturing".
