Zheng Jianbin, deputy general manager of Xinghang Casting, happily told the reporter of China Industry News: "In 2017, the company has made great progress. Xinghang Casting is a modern private enterprise specializing in casting production and mechanical processing. It is one of the first enterprises to pass the "Foundry Industry Access Conditions" issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, and is a leading enterprise in China's foundry industry. The company has passed ISO9001 quality management, ISO14001 environmental management, OHSAS18001 occupational health and safety management system certification. In production practice, production is carried out in strict accordance with these management standards.

Xinghang Casting is perhaps the only company in Fujian foundry industry that can produce castings with a unit weight of 100 tons. It is not easy to get customers to recognize 100-ton castings. Xinghang Casting is not a big company located in Changle Binhai Industrial Zone, Fuzhou. However, since its establishment in 1993, the company has been steady in its strategy and advanced in management, making remarkable achievements year by year. When the market was sluggish, the company was still prosperous; when the market was revived, the company easily leaped forward.

2017 was an extraordinary year for Xinghang Casting. Zheng Jianbin told the China Industry Daily reporter that due to various factors, Xinghang Casting formulated a management method of "focusing on the site internally and the market externally".

"To focus on the site internally means that the company has vigorously promoted 6S management on the basis of the previous years to create a good site environment, thus laying a solid foundation for improving quality." Zheng Jianbin introduced, "To focus on the market externally means that while the company continues to maintain business cooperation with central enterprises such as Shanghai Baosteel, China Railway Science and Industry, and Great Wheel Co., Ltd., it actively develops new customers and successively cooperates with large central enterprises such as China First Heavy Industries, China Second Heavy Industries, and Shanghai Electric, so that the company's overall orders remain saturated. At the same time, through cooperation with large central enterprises, the company's technology and management level are continuously improved."

Through the management of both ends, Xinghang Casting has entered a new realm of development.

Actively introducing the management system of integration of information technology and information technology, fully promoting the organic integration of traditional industries with information technology and intelligence, and improving the level of enterprise information technology management are the key steps for Xinghang Casting to take off. According to Zheng Jianbin, since the company established the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), it has achieved transparency in the production process, flexibility in production, collaborative production in the workshop, lean material supply, product traceability, and rapid analysis of energy efficiency performance, thus improving the company's management level.

"We use computer simulation technology in the research and development and design of products. At the same time, we play the role of Internet+, promote the visual casting process, and adopt the information technology of the smart workshop execution system to achieve refined control of the process." Zheng Jianbin told reporters that in 2015, Xinghang Casting was selected as a "pilot enterprise for the implementation of the management system of the integration of industrialization and informationization" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and passed the on-site audit in 2016.

Adhering to innovation-driven development and focusing on transformation and upgrading are the fundamental factors that make Xinghang Casting the industry leader. Mr. Chen told the reporter of China Industrial Daily that Xinghang Casting has invested a total of 100 million yuan in the past two years, merged and reorganized two companies, built a machining workshop, an electronic control workshop, and purchased a CNC machining center. By extending the industrial chain, the company has transformed from an extensive approach to a refined approach. All of this is due to the company's capable team.

"Being together is a party, being together is a team." Lively patterns and moving slogans are written on the entire wall of the workshop, which is eye-catching. In the electrical automation division, young people are working hard in front of their computers; in the electrical control workshop, workers are assembling power distribution cabinets that are about to be shipped in an orderly manner.

The gathering of talents and the teamwork have accelerated the transformation and upgrading of Xinghang Casting from "ordinary manufacturing" to "intelligent manufacturing". The company has transformed and upgraded from simple casting production to complete sets of intelligent equipment production. "Now we not only sell complete machines, but also sell the entire production line equipment."

Mr. Chen told the reporter: "From casting blanks, to casting processing, to assembly into a complete machine and a whole intelligent production line, this was unthinkable before." Xinghang Casting has achieved a triple jump. As long as the customer submits the drawings to the company and picks up the goods at a specified time, you can get the whole equipment or even the whole production line equipment that you want within the contract period, and you don't have to worry about casting processing and assembly. It is reported that in 2017, Xinghang Casting's output value will hit a record high in terms of processing and complete machine sales, and it has won the honorary title of "Fujian Province Intelligent Manufacturing Pilot Demonstration Enterprise" awarded by the Provincial Economic and Information Commission.
